"Gizza Job" to quote Yosser Hughes from about 35 years ago

We are looking for a new recruit, or maybe two, with a love of technical writing, an obsessive eye for detail, and the ability to fit into our team. Experience of IPS or VisionBlue coding would be a great asset. In return we offer flexible home-based employment, technically challenging work, just about adequate pay and bragging rights at being part of our happy band. Initial efforts will be focussed on assistance with review visits and answering technical queries and just about anything else that you can turn your hand to. Long-term, you should be looking at putting us out to grass, or at least reducing our involvement as you qualify and gain the necessary experience.

You are likely to have at least 3 years’ insolvency experience, in an IP practice or at the Insolvency Service, and want to progress to take formal qualifications. You have to have the confidence to deal with IPs and the empathy to deal with people of all levels over phone and email. You’ll have to demonstrate good technical insolvency knowledge, but an ability to act independently and a near addictive work ethic will be equally important. You’ll need to fit with our existing team and we’ll all need to be happy we can rely on you in a crisis, so the selection process will be unorthodox and you’ll have every chance to try to convince us that you can put up with us at a push.

In return, we’ll agree some working hours with you and, except when we are on visits and have to comply with accepted business hours, let you fit them into your lifestyle. We’ll pay you for your hours, whether you do them in “normal” office hours or choose to work overnight and leave the days free for golf, childcare, or even your unhealthy obsession with day-time telly.

Initial enquires from genuine applicants (no agency) should be by email to bill@complianceoncall.co.uk.
