You
may well have seen the recent update from R3 about IPs using the incorrect
version of the VAT 7 form to de-register companies. VAT de-registration can now
only be undertaken in one of two ways, either entirely online, or by completing
an online form that you then print out and post to the address given in the
form. Both methods can be accessed at Cancel
your VAT registration - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk). For those of you who use our Work
Programmes we will be updating them in our next update to reflect this revised
approach.
